Rep. Sara Jacobs says election brings 'sense of foreboding'
With just 11 days until the presidential election, Democratic Congresswoman Sara Jacobs said a lot is on the line. She's been traveling across the country to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris, and said young voters tell her they know the stakes of the historic race.
"Constituents are anxious about the election, especially for many of us for whom reproductive rights are deeply personal," Jacobs said. "There's really a sense of foreboding that this could decide whether or not we have rights even in a state like California, because a federal abortion ban really could override all of our protections here in California."
Jacobs joined KPBS to talk about the future of democracy and the prospect for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
