Consulate overwhelmed by high turnout for Mexican election

Voters in San Diego and Tijuana made history on Sunday by electing Mexico's first female president. In San Diego, where Mexicans living in the United States could vote, officials weren’t ready for the number of people who showed up to vote. Some voters waited up to 9 hours to cast their vote.
