California energy grid tries to adapt as state moves to renewables

The modern electrical grid has become a careful dance between demand and generation. And in California generation is moving toward renewable energy. KPBS sci-tech reporter Thomas Fudge tells us how the California grid is balancing supply and how an electrical test bed at UCSD wants to change the way we consume energy.
