Oceanside Harbor home to North County’s first fishermen's market
Oceanside Harbor now has North County's first fishermen's market, where local fishermen can sell their catch.
Travis Tielens is the founder of the Fisherman's Market of North County. He said the market allows local fishermen to sell directly to the public — cutting out wholesalers in the middle. It also gives the community access to fresh fish caught in local waters.
The fisherman's market is open every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oceanside Harbor — rain or shine.
