On Monday, we celebrated Indigenous Peoples' Day, a day to honor the history, culture and resistance of Native Americans. This year’s celebration came two years after President Joe Biden commemorated the holiday to “honor America’s first inhabitants and the Tribal Nations that continue to thrive today." On Midday Edition Wednesday, we talk more about the holiday, as well as some of the issues San Diego's Native American population continue to face.
