SANDAG project director John Haggerty said the agency want the public's input on station design.

"We're really soliciting people's input on the various design elements of the station: the shelters, the pavement, the colors, the rest of it," Haggerty said.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2016 and the expansion should be completed by 2019.

The next public forum is Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Cadman Elementary School auditorium.
