Crews Battle Brush Fire In Linda Vista

A fire burning in the Tecolote Canyon Natural Park area in Linda Vista, April 18, 2016.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department tweeted:

1 acre brush fire Tecolote Canyon. Knocked down in 35 minutes. Copter 2 made 7 water drops, Copter 10 made 1 pic.twitter.com/bJ8j3eEaBE

Crews from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department were working to extinguish a brush fire reported in Linda Vista about 5:05 p.m. Monday.

The fire was burning in the Tecolote Canyon Natural Park area.

According to 10News, the fire has threatened several nearby homes, and traffic on Genesee Avenue has been diverted.
