Crews from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department were working to extinguish a brush fire reported in Linda Vista about 5:05 p.m. Monday.
The fire was burning in the Tecolote Canyon Natural Park area.
According to 10News, the fire has threatened several nearby homes, and traffic on Genesee Avenue has been diverted.
