A 4,500-square-foot Coronado home built from the ground up for a national home magazine will be open for tours until the end of September, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Navy SEAL Foundation.
The privately owned home is Coastal Living Magazine's 2014 Showhouse. The first California home to be a showhouse, it has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, a rooftop deck and another deck overlooking the ocean.
One of the builders of the home, John O’Brien of Flagg Coastal Homes, says working with the Navy SEAL Foundation has been one of the most enjoyable parts of the process.
The Navy SEAL Foundation provides program and services for Navy SEALs, special warfare crewmen and support personnel and their families.
Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and are available online. The home will also be featured in the October issue of Coastal Living Magazine.
