Dennis Farina Reunites With Army Buddy
Actor and U.S. Army veteran Dennis Farina passed away today at the age of 69. TMZ reports Farnia died "after suffering a blood clot in his lung" while in Scottsdale, Arizona.
According to Yahoo! Movies, Chicago-native Farina enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962, and spent three years in the service. He later became a police officer for 18 years before turning to show business.
Back in 2011, Farina was at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award when he ran into an Army buddy he hadn't seen in almost 50 years. You'll find video at the top of this post of Farina describing that reunion.
