More Refugees Settling In San Diego County This Year

San Diego County has seen an 85 percent increase in the number of refugees settling in the area, as compared to this time last year.

That's according to reporting from San Diego Union-Tribune immigration reporter, Kate Morrissey.

This increase comes despite the Trump administration drastically reducing the number of refugees allowed in the U.S.

Morrissey joins Midday Edition on Tuesday to discuss refugee resettlement in the county.
