For the last 24 years, Point Loma Nazarene University has invited some of the nation’s brightest writers to its annual Writer’s Symposium by the Sea for a week of workshops and interviews.
This year’s conference features political commentator EJ Dionne.
Dionne’s twice-weekly columns on politics appear in the Washington Post. He’s a frequent commentator on NPR, PBS and MSNBC and is a senior fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution.
His latest book, co-authored with Norman Ornstein and Thomas Mann is called "One Nation After Trump: A Guide for the Perplexed, the Disillusioned, the Desperate, and the Not-Yet Deported."
Dionne joins Midday Edition Wednesday to discuss political writing under President Trump and the future of journalism.
