KPBS Midday Edition

Violinist Kevin Sylvester and violist Wilner Baptiste make up the musical duo Black Violin.

Their music combines classical music and hip-hop.

The group will be performing Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.

On Wednesday's Midday Edition, we revisit an interview with the duo prior to their sold-out performance in San Diego in 2015.
