Ten confirmed measles cases have been reported in San Diego County, and all are linked to the recent Disneyland outbreak, county health officials said Thursday.
Seven of the 10 cases were reported Thursday. Health officials said those seven people may have exposed others to the disease at the following locations and times:
• City of San Diego Operations Building, 1222 First Ave., from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 12; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 13; and 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 14.
• CVS Pharmacy, 2760 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 14.
• Vons, 2800 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 14.
• Sharp-Rees-Steely Urgent Care Clinic, 5525 Grossmont Center Drive, La Mesa, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 and noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 14.
• Rite Aid Pharmacy, 1665 Alpine Blvd., Alpine, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 13.
• Trader Joe's, 5495 Grossmont Center Drive, La Mesa, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 12.
• Absolute Personal Fitness, 2000 Main St., Julian, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 9.
• Julian Fitness Center, 2216 Main St., Julian. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 9.
• Parkway Plaza Mall, El Cajon, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 29 around GameStop, Sunglasses Hut and the mall's carousel.
Health officials said none of the locations listed has a current risk for measles, and no cases have yet been identified linked to exposures at these sites.
All of the confirmed cases either reported travel to Disneyland on Dec. 18 or the people had been in close contact with someone who had visited the park, health officials said.
"Anyone who was at any of the locations listed at the specified dates and times should watch for symptoms and contact their health care provider by telephone first if they show any signs of the disease," said Dr. Wilma Wooten, the county public health officer.
Wooten described measles as highly contagious and urged people to get vaccinated.
