Rain Moving Into San Diego County

A strong Pacific storm with heavy rain and strong wind is expected to move into San Diego County on Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Coastal regions could receive about an inch of rain, and inland regions are expected to get up to an inch-and-a-half. In the mountains, rain totals could reach two inches.

Forecasters say precipitation will taper to scattered showers on Friday afternoon, with temperatures dropping below average.
