ANTIQUES ROADSHOW is in Bismarck, North Dakota, where host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Ted Trotta head to the State Historical Society of North Dakota to look at Plains Indian ledger drawings.
Highlights include an original Santa Claus oil and advertisement by Hadden Sundblom, who painted all of the Coca-Cola Santa paintings from around 1931-1965; a 1778 letter written and signed by George Washington, dated from Valley Forge; and two Irish dragoon swallowtail guidon flags that were used in the Battle of Nashville and are now valued at $50,000.
