The heartwarming triple BAFTA-winning series reunites its multi-award-winning ensemble of Derek Jacobi (VICIOUS), Anne Reid (SANDITON), Nicola Walker (UNFORGOTTEN), Sarah Lancashire (HAPPY VALLEY) and Timothy West (GENTLEMAN JACK). LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX tells the story of love-struck Alan Buttershaw (Jacobi) and Celia Dawson (Reid), who rediscover their love for each other 60 years after they first met.

As they enter their seventh year of marriage, Alan and Celia settle into a lovely new home, but they aren’t seeing eye to eye. Clashing politics, a new job and other distractions create tension in the household.
Meanwhile, Celia’s daughter, Caroline (Lancashire), gets emotionally embroiled at work, while up at the farm, Gillian (Walker) faces trouble with a giraffe! Into all this flies Alan’s brother, Ted (West), but he only bought a one-way ticket.
LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX also features Tony Gardner (TRACEY ULLMAN’S SHOW) as John, Ronni Ancona (THE TRIP TO ITALY) as Judith and Josh Bolt (CATCH-22) as Raff.

Episode 1 airs Sunday, September 20 at 8 p.m. on KPBS TV - Seven years into their marriage, Alan and Celia don't see eye to eye. Alan's brother, Ted, plans to visit from New Zealand. Tempers get frayed when money becomes the topic of conversation at Caroline and Gillian's birthday celebration.
Episode 2 airs Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. on KPBS TV - Alan and Celia’s relationship comes under increasing strain. Ted arrives with two young New Zealanders in tow. A giraffe turns up at Far Slack farm, creating anxiety for Gillian. As Judith looks to the future, John begins to look the other way.
Episode 3 airs Sunday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. on KPBS TV - Alan's new supermarket job brings an unexpected challenge. A home improvement project creates chaos. Caroline begins to question how people see her. The giraffe continues to torment Gillian. The truth about Ted's last-minute trip comes to light.
Episode 4 airs Sunday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. on KPBS TV - Gillian is pushed to her breaking point at the farm. Ted and Harrison go on an adventure. Caroline finds herself at the heart of an unlikely love triangle. Alan and Celia discover reason to laugh together again, but sobering news awaits them at home.
