Leslie ponders fatherhood, and Louisa is on the receiving end of some confused romantic advances in the final season of THE DURRELLS IN CORFU On MASTERPIECE.
The future looks bright for the eccentric Durrells. Louisa turns the family villa into a guest house and cousin Basil moves in. Larry enjoys love with two ballerinas, Leslie throws himself into his job, and Gerry and Margo have business ambitions.
EPISODE GUIDE:
Episode 1 airs Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. - Louisa opens a new boarding house, but the arrival of a mysterious guest places it under police scrutiny. Gerry announces plans to open his own zoo. Margo struggles to find clients for her beauty treatments.
Episode 2 airs Sunday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. - An encounter with Daphne leaves Leslie pondering the possibility of fatherhood. Margo moves in with Theo, and Louisa is on the receiving end of some slightly confused romantic advances.
Episode 3 airs Sunday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. - Louisa meets Spiros' wife for the first time and invites her to join the family on a trip. However, the journey ends badly when their picnic is eaten by hungry animals.
Episode 4 airs Sunday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. - With the house guests getting rowdier, Louisa worries about the villa's reputation, but Spiros' increased presence continues to delight her. Margo finds a surprising way to bond with Maud. Gerry realizes he has feelings for Galini.
Episode 5 airs Sunday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. - The residents of Corfu are excited at the prospect of a visit from the king of Greece, and the Durrells are keen to join the welcoming committee. Leslie leads a scout troop. Louisa and Spiros grow closer. Love may also be in the air for Margo.
Episode 6 airs Sunday, Nov 3 at 8 p.m. - In the series finale, just as the Durrells may have found their happy ending, the islanders realize they can no longer ignore the rumblings of war.
