In Season 13 of MIDSOMER MURDERS, DCI Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and his assistant Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) continue to investigate terrible murders and dastardly deeds that befall the picturesque county of Midsomer.
Behind the well-trimmed hedges and net curtains, secrets hide and dangers lurk, and it’s up to Barnaby and Jones to unpack the mysteries before disaster strikes again.
Filled with twists and turns, the season ends with an exciting new chapter: the introduction of Neil Dudgeon as the next DCI Barnaby.

"Blood On The Saddle" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Sept. 3 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - A Wild West show comes to Ford Florey and a serial killer starts to eliminate villagers in a "wild west" fashion, all related to a parcel of disputed swampland. Guest stars include Emma Cooke (WPC 56).
"The Silent Land" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - Jeff Bowmaker runs a profitable business in Midsomer Magna conducting spooky nighttime "ghost tours." During one of the nights, the unpopular village librarian turns up dead.
"Master Class" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - A gifted young pianist with emotional issues competes with other young talents all trying to win a scholarship in a prestigious, private music academy. Guest stars include James Fox ("Sherlock Holmes").
"The Noble Art" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Sep. 24 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - When a famous 1860 bare-knuckle boxing bout is restaged in Midsomer Morchard with great pomp, dead bodies begin to pile up for Barnaby. Guest stars include Daniela Denby-Ashe and Phil Daniels ("Quadrophenia").
"Not In My Back Yard" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - A group of conservationists object to the development of a pristine part of the village and adherents from both sides become victims of a mysterious killer. Guest stars include Peter Egan and Jill Baker (HAPPY VALLEY).
"Fit For Murder" Parts 1 & 2 repeats Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on KPBS TV - Joyce talks Barnaby into enrolling in a spa located in a remodeled manor house, but the bodies start to pile up when he's there. This is the final episode in which DCI Tom Barnaby appears.
