‘Gilmore Girls’ Fans Flock To Luke’s Diner Pop-Ups In San Diego

Local fans of the TV series "Gilmore Girls" swarmed two San Diego coffee shops Wednesday morning.

Industrial Grind Coffee in Hillcrest and Cafe Virtuoso in Barrio Logan transformed into Luke's Diner, a restaurant on the show, and served free coffee.

They're among at least 200 U.S. locations that hosted the pop-up on Wednesday. Netflix sponsored the nationwide event to promote its revival of the show, which last aired in 2007, this November.
