Steve Martin's newest play, "Meteor Shower," hasn't even opened yet at The Old Globe, but tickets are already reaching "Hamilton"-level demands (very, very difficult to find).

The world premiere show, starring Jenna Fischer and Greg Germann, has been extended for a second time — giving local audiences one more week of performances and one more chance to buy tickets. The show now runs July 30 through Sept. 18.

Tickets for the new performances start at $55 and go on sale at noon Tuesday.

"Meteor Shower" is a comedy about the anxiety of modern marriage. Martin's last project with The Globe was "Bright Star," which ran for four months on Broadway and closed last month.
