Based on the short stories by G. K. Chesterton, the FATHER BROWN series follows the kindly cleric as he solves crimes in his community. It is a quintessentially English world: drawing rooms in large country houses, miles of countryside, village halls and secret gardens, as well as country fairs, railway stations and rural parish churches.
This behind-the-scenes special was shot on location in the Cotswolds in the summer of 2014 and features both clips from the series and interviews with the cast: Mark Williams (Father Brown), Sorcha Cusack (Mrs. McCarthy), Nancy Carroll (Lady Felicia), Alex Price (Sid Carter), and Tom Chambers (Inspector Sullivan). Also included are interviews with series co-creators and writers Rachel Flowerday and Tahsin Guner plus writer Jude Tindall.
