The INSPECTOR MORSE television series, starring the late John Thaw, turned 25 in 2012. To commemorate this event, "Inspector Morse's Oxford" looks at the creation of the Morse novels and the television adaptation.

It is a three-fold celebration — an investigation into the work of author Colin Dexter, a look at the television production team, and a showcase of the beauty, history and tradition of Oxford itself, the setting for the popular Morse stories.

The program is presented by Dr. Antony Richards — a leading authority on the INSPECTOR MORSE series. Interviewees include Colin Dexter, actor Kevin Whately (Inspector Lewis), composer Barrington Pheloung and producers Ted Childs, Chris Burt and Michele Buck (Executive Producer of "Endeavour" and INSPECTOR LEWIS).
