In celebration of his 85th birthday, the legendary Tony Bennett released the critically acclaimed "Duets II," which followed his Grammy-winning "Duets" CD, released in honor of his 80th birthday. Bennett made music history with "Duets II" when it debuted at the top of the Billboard Album charts, making Bennett the oldest artist to ever achieve the #1 spot. Featuring his greatest hits, performed by today’s biggest stars, "Duets II" was recorded live in studios from Los Angeles to London, New York to Italy, with Nashville in between.
"Tony Bennett: Duets II," a presentation of THIRTEEN’s GREAT PERFORMANCES, features full song performances including “Body and Soul” (with Amy Winehouse), “The Lady Is a Tramp”(with Lady Gaga), “Speak Low” (with Norah Jones), “The Way You Look Tonight” (with Faith Hill), “It Had to Be You (with Carrie Underwood), “On the Sunny Side of the Street” (with Willie Nelson), “One for My Baby (And One More for the Road)” (with John Mayer), “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore” (with Michael Bublé), “Blue Velvet” (with k.d. lang) and many more.
The stunning musical segments are highlighted by insights on the process from the performers, making for an entertaining and fascinating profile of one of the year’s most celebrated recordings.
