Producer Rick Sebak visits interesting and unusual breakfast spots, from a Cuban cafe in downtown St. Augustine to a mid-western eatery in a shopping center outside Columbus, Ohio.
He lets viewers sample pancakes in rural New York state, try "congee" in San Francisco and see what's cooking at the Tin Shed in Portland, Oregon.
The beauty of breakfast is there are so many places where care is taken, where you can live outside a cereal box, where you can start a day with a memorable meal in an interesting spot.
And if you're lucky, like us, you'll strike up a conversation and be part of the breakfast scene yourself. There's more to breakfast than a bowl of cold cereal.
