Hiring concerns, capacity issues and lingering safety guidelines are all among the long list of topics that California restaurants will have to reckon with before the state's reopening on June 15th.

The pandemic shutdowns for businesses across California are almost over.

After a roller coaster year of partial openings and closings, the state has now set June 15th as the date for a near-total resumption of business activity.

Restaurants, which are among the hardest hit sectors, now have roughly 10 weeks to gear up for reopening. While the announcement seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel for many in the beleaguered industry, questions remain about how eateries across the state will fare as counties continue to roll back restrictions.
