Evening Edition anchor Ebone Monet and SDSU Marketing Professor and BottomLine Marketing founder Miro Copic discuss some of the week's top business stories.
This week's topics:
Drop In San Diego Home Sales
The number of homes sold in San Diego in September dropped by 17.5 percent compared to the same period last year, according to a CoreLogic report out this week.
Prices also dipped from the previous few months but were still higher than they were at this time last year. What's behind the sales slump?
Holiday Shopping Season
Numbers out this week from the Department of Labor show continued low unemployment and better-than-expected jobs gains. Retailers hope that translates into more spending this holiday season. Early reports show they may get their wish. Surveys out this week from the National Retail Federation and DeLoitte show shoppers plan on going big this year.
