Camp Pendleton's 'Magificent Bastards' Get New CO On Friday

Camp Pendleton's 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, known as the "Magnificent Bastards," will have a new leader starting Friday.

Camp Pendleton Patch reports Maj. Robert S. Weiler will become the new commanding officer of the 2/4, taking over command from Lt. Col. William H. Vivian.

The change of command ceremony will take place on base this Friday.
