For the past two days, KPBS has been broadcasting a series of stories about Abortion. We examined the idea of abortion regret -- a notion that had little scientific support, but somehow found its way in a recent Supreme Court ruling. Today, we introduce you to three young women, all with different points of view on the abortion issue. Full Focus reporter Joanne Faryon asked them about regret, the law and whether they believed there was common ground in this very divisive issue.

Marie Lopez , 19, is a student at Mesa College, completing her general education requirements. In the fall she plans to transfer to a four-year university to study Catholic theology and youth ministry. Lopez is currently involved in a pro-life ministry offering help and resources to pregnant women.

sarah2.jpg   Sarah Epstein is a junior at UCSD, majoring in theatre and minoring in psychology. She plans to pursue a Masters Degree in social work. Sarah has been involved with several organizations in South Africa, including volunteering at an orphanage in Johannesburg and working with HIV positive children. leah2.jpg   Lea Caughlan , 25, is the owner and operator of the Rubber Rose, a San Diego sexuality boutique. Caughlan is a long-time human rights activist, devoting much of her time and energy on women's issues.
