Last Thursday night, eight Democratic candidates for President showed up for the first All-American Presidential Forums on PBS. It was held at Howard University, a historically black college, was moderated by African-American Tavis Smiley, and featured three journalists of color -- including local columnist Ruben Navarrette, Jr.
