Sesame Place® San Diego is recognizing and celebrating the many contributions and culture of the Hispanic community with the ALL-NEW Sesame Place Hispanic Heritage Celebration.
Guests can enjoy an all-new Spanish language version of the beloved Welcome To Our Street theater show, festive décor, games of Lotería with Rosita, the Furry Friends ¡A Bailar! Dance Party, bilingual storytimes, and more. The event will take place on select dates Friday, October 6 through Sunday, October 15. Park Hours
Celebrate Hispanic Culture with All-New Entertainment, Décor, and More
Sesame Place San Diego will incorporate festive papel picado banners hung in celebration. With new entertainment offerings, games, and other activities, kids will love exploring everything that this event has to offer. These special, all-new activities include:
- All-New Spanish Language Bienvenidos a Nuestro Vecindario! – Guests will love seeing this fan-favorite show in a new language! Sing and dance along with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, and Grover as they try to decide what kind of show they should put on to welcome their new friends to Sesame Street.
- Furry Friends ¡A Bailar! Dance Party – Get ready to groove and have a blast at the Furry Friends ¡A Bailar! Dance Party! Guests will join their furry Sesame Street friends during this electrifying dance extravaganza as they dance and sing to Latin American music.
- Lotería – Play a special Sesame Street-themed game of Lotería with Rosita! See park schedule for exact activity times.
- Bilingual Storytime with Big Bird – The best storyteller on Sesame Street welcomes all his friends to his nest during Storytime with Big Bird. Enjoy a bilingual (Spanish and English) tale and take pictures with their favorite yellow friend during this interactive experience everyone can enjoy.
- Special Rosita Meet & Greets – Guests can make memories and get a special photo with Rosita! She loves singing, playing guitar, playing with her friends, and sharing her Mexican culture. See park schedule for details.
- Culinary Delights – Guests can snack on a variety of delicious celebratory food items, including elote, nachos, tacos, fruit, and more!
