Due to inclement weather, Sesame Place San Diego is closed tomorrow, Saturday, February 25.
Sesame Place San Diego is celebrating the arrival of Elmo’s adopted puppy, Tango, with the park’s first Pet Adoption Weekend on February 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is in partnership with Petco and Petco Love Foundation.
Guests will be able to meet rescue dogs from local partner shelters in front of the park and learn more about the pet adoption process. There will also be special appearances by Elmo and Tango!
Participating animal shelters include:
• Helen Woodward Animal Center
• Rancho Coastal Humane Society
Pet Adoption Weekend is free, located in front of the Sesame Place park entrance, and does not require paid admission into Sesame Place to attend the Pet Adoption Weekend. Guests will receive a special discount on admission to the park the day of the event.
