Stephen Sondheim’s darkly humorous mashup of beloved fairy tales follows a baker and his wife as they set out on a mission to break a witch’s curse. The couple’s journey takes them into the woods where they encounter Little Red Ridinghood, Jack and his beanstalk, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and two lovesick princes. But while wishes may come true, the ever after may not always be so happy. The Tony Award-winning musical features enchanting and touching songs and a modern twist on the storybook classics.
