Cardiff Kook Run

Kick off your Super Bowl Sunday as you race down the Coast Highway 101 taking in epic views of the Pacific Ocean and a world famous surf break.

The course starts under the world famous
"Encinitas" sign on historic HWY 101 in beautiful Encinitas, California. This scenic loop passes by the famous "Cardiff Kook" statue (The Magic Carpet Ride), rises above some of the most popular surf breaks in the world and heads down to Cardiff State Beach.

• 6:30 a.m.- Race Day & Costume Contest Registration Opens
  7:30 a.m.- Elite-Pro Race/ 10K Start
  8:05 a.m.- 5K Starts
  8:15 a.m. - Finishline Festival Opens
  9:20 a.m.-  Race Course Closes
  9:30 a.m.- Costume Contest Awards
  9:30 a.m. - Finish Line Closes
  11:30 a.m.- Finish Line Festival Closes

What's a little run on the Coast Hwy without some costume fun! Come out and help us celebrate "The Big Game" and show your support for your favorite team, your favorite super hero, favorite princess, or because you want to wear your craziest costume.
