Get ready for the ultimate fright fest at the San Diego Halloween Film Festival on Oct. 31, 2024!
Gather your fellow ghouls, ghosts, and indie film fanatics as we conjure up a spine-chilling night of cinematic delights! This is the Halloween event you don't want to miss.
Dress to impress in your most frightfully fabulous costume – this is no ordinary screening! With an atmosphere where horror meets high fashion, you’ll fit right in at our swanky soiree of scares. Bonus points if your outfit leaves us screaming for more!
Here’s the spooky scoop on what’s brewing for the evening:
7:00 PM – Doors Open: Step through our haunted entrance into a world where horror meets haute couture! Mingle with filmmakers, grab some bewitching refreshments, and get ready for a night of cinematic sorcery. Food and drinks will be served to keep your energy high and your taste buds tantalized!
7:20 - Special Screening of "The Scalpel"
8:00 PM – First Screening Block: Settle in for a 45-minute reel of frightfully fantastic films. From eerie experiments to comedic creeps, each flick is sure to send shivers down your spine and leave you craving more.
8:45 PM – Intermission: Take a breather, grab a witch’s brew, and chat with your fellow festival-goers. This is your chance to discuss the horrors you've just witnessed and anticipate what's to come!
9:00 PM – Second Screening Block: Prepare yourself for another 55 minutes of mesmerizingly macabre magic. Our second set promises even more thrills, chills, and cinematic chills to keep the Halloween spirit alive.
10:00 PM – Award Ceremony: We’ll unveil the best of the fest and hand out our coveted awards.
After-Party Extravaganza: The horror doesn't stop when the credits roll! Stick around for a spooktacular after-party following awards to close out Halloween night under the stars.
