Mexican Independence Day Celebration

Enjoy an exciting lineup if binational artists and cultural offerings such as live music, folklórico dance performances, and arts and crafts. Plus, a special guest of the Mexican Consulate in San Diego will join us as we commemorate this historic event by reciting “El Grito,” followed by a sing-along of the National Anthem. Hosted by Laura Jiménez and Markuz Rodríguez, and produced by Family and Cross-Cultural Programs Manager Valeria Vega.

Music performances by Las Cancioneras, Mariachi Continental de San Diego, and Danza Rosana.

This event is free and open to all who want to attend. This is an all-ages event. No reservations required.

Disfruta una tarde de cultura y celebración con artistas binacionales, incluytendo presentaciones de danza folklórica, mariachi, manualidades para los niños, y mucho más. Con una participacion especial de parte del Consulado Mexicano en San Diego para conmemorar este evento histórico con el tradicional Grito de Dolores y seguido del Himno Nacional. Con los maestros de ceremonias Laura Jiménez y Markuz Rodríguez. Evento producido por Valeria Vega, Coordinadora de programas familiares y cross-culturales.
