Sew Loka Presents: “You Reap What You Sew”: A Cut & Sew Fashion Show 10 years in the making. The purpose of this free, family-friendly event is to promote slow fashion, sustainability and the Arts in San Diego. The official fashion show begins at 7 p.m. but the event is happening all day (12 p.m. - 8 p.m.) inside the beautiful Bread & Salt event space. Come early and celebrate with us! There will be live music by Beech City and The Fortunatos, Food & Artisan vendors, Fashion vendors, an incredible Art Show curated by Studio IX, and live performances by The Invisible Panchos with narration by Parker Edison. There will also be live sewing, live painting, and a live podcast recording by Copy & Steal. Come early and celebrate with us! Fashion, fun and familia! The theme of this event “You Reap What You Sew” is a phrase that has always been a positive, guiding principle throughout my life. The more hard work you do, especially when no one is looking, the more you will get back in the end; I truly believe this. Nothing great happens overnight; it took us 10 years of highs and lows to get to this point and now, a decade later, we are finally ready to celebrate the fruits of our labor with our friends, family and community.
