An Evening with Dave Eggers

Monday, October 9, 2023 at 7 PM
San Diego Central Public Library
Free

In any urban park, you might notice a few wild animals — a squirrel here, a duck there, or some evidence of raccoons — but what happens when all the wild animals, who otherwise blend in or exist under the radar, all conspire together to plan something really big? Writer Dave Eggers' recently published an all-ages novel called "The Eyes and the Impossible" that gives us the inside look on such a park, from the point of view of a stray dog. Eggers is the author of many books, and also an editor and publisher, the founder of McSweeney's and the educational arts nonprofit 826 National. He'll discuss the book at the San Diego Central Library on Monday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
