On August 12th from 5 - 8 p.m., SIP San Diego, a collective of urban wineries, meaderies and cideries, will be hosting their 5th annual SIP the City festival at Escondido City Hall. For $79 per person, attendees will have the opportunity to sample unlimited sips from all 14 members of the SIP San Diego non-profit in one place, as well as enjoy light bites from the newly opened California Poppy and live music in the dome venue at Escondido City Hall (201 N. Broadway, Escondido CA 92025).

Participants include: Carruth Cellars, Charlie & Echo, Gianni Buonomo Vintners, Golden Coast Mead, Grafted Cellars, Koi Zen Cellars, Lost Cause Meadery, Mission Cellars, Negociant, Propaganda Wine Co., Raging Cider & Mead, San Pasqual Winery, Serpentine Cider, Solterra Winery

The three hour festival will also have local vendors on-site, as well as a SIP San Diego store where the craft, locally-produced wine, cider or mead will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from ticket sales go to further support the mission of SIP San Diego to increase awareness of locally crafted, artisanal wine, mead and cider while creating a collaborative community for our skilled city wine, mead & cider makers. It is our intention to encourage San Diegans to "Sip Small" every opportunity they have!
