The Skin Cancer Foundation & Dr. Melanie Palm Bring Free Skin Cancer Screening Program to Encinitas

The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Destination Healthy Skin RV is back for its sixth year, and will be in Encinitas, CA on Thursday, July 6th.

The Foundation’s 38-foot RV, customized with two private exam rooms, will travel around the country from May to September. Inside the RV, local dermatologists provide free full-body skin cancer screenings, which are first come, first served from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Participants will also receive educational materials and sun protection samples.

Dr. Melanie Palm, San Diego-based board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon, has donated her time and services to the Foundation and will conduct the screenings.

Volunteer physicians are all practicing, local dermatologists. They are available for onsite interviews, where they can discuss the Destination Healthy Skin program, skin cancer prevention and early detection.
