California Native Plant Society's Annual Fall Plant Sale

Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 8 AM
Balboa Park’s Casa del Prado Courtyard
Free

To help San Diego reach the 30 x 30 goal (protecting 30% of our area by 2030), the California Native Plant Society will be holding a delightful native plant sale on October 15th from 8 am to 3 pm, with many easy to grow natives that will spruce up your landscape. Our popular CNPS Fall Plant Sale is a great way to see native plants up close, talk to our native plant experts and purchase a wide variety of native plants for your landscape! The sale will be in Balboa Park’s Casa del Prado Courtyard adjacent to the Casa del Prado theater, located at 1700 Village Place. for more information, please visit the Cnps SD website:

Come browse through the many native California species and cultivars. This will include native shade trees, native water wise shrubs, native seasonal flowers, native bunch grasses, bee friendly native ground covers, and native succulents. An open-air garden market will have local and state sourced seeds and bulbs and books for all ages. There will also be botanical shirts, and hats to show off your love of native plants.

To make things more convenient, curbside loading and secure holding areas will be available. Gardening experts will also help you with answers to any questions you may have, such as, “Will this shrub make my pool look bigger?” or “Will this plant do well under my Eucalyptus tree?”
