One of the nation’s leading veteran service organizations, Travis Manion Foundation, will host the San Diego 9/11 Heroes Run 5K race this weekend. The annual race series unites the nation to remember the lives lost on September 11th and in the wars since, while honoring veterans, military, and first responders who serve our country and our communities.

Now in its 15th year, 9/11 Heroes Runs will take place in more than 90 locations, both in-person and virtually, and is expected to draw over 60,000 participants worldwide. Through the Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Runs, communities come together to run, walk or ruck, not just to honor the fallen, but to continue the legacies of character, leadership, and service that they left behind. At its heart, the 9/11 Heroes Run is a personal commitment to never forget the heroes of that day.
