Inspired by the memoirs of the Del Monte Forest Road Race history, the Pebble Beach Concours and Pebble Beach Company, K&K Productions knew this was a story that needed to be told and more importantly - shared with the world.
From 1950 to 1956 The "Del Monte Trophy" was held on the twisty, leafy, and very narrow town roads in Pebble Beach, California along the famed 17-mile drive.
For six short years, this magnificent race hosted famed drivers Phil Hill, Carroll Shelby, Bill Pollack and Chuck Tatum, and is recognized as being one of the most influential contributions to modern day road racing. Now everyone can understand where it all began.
