San Diego Climate Change Symposium Focuses On Role Of Energy
GUESTS:David Edick, president of the San Diego World Affairs Council, which is hosting the San Diego Symposium on Energy and Climate Change on May 14. Carl Nettleton, OpenOceans Global founder, will moderate a panel on public policy during the symposium.

The major industries that supply San Diego with power will be represented at a energy and climate change symposium this week.

The San Diego World Affairs Council is bringing together environmental nonprofits like the Center for Sustainable Energy with companies like San Diego Gas and Electric in an effort to form a meeting of the minds on power needs of the future.

The San Diego Symposium on Energy and Climate Change will be held this Wednesday, May 14 from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego.
