Democratic incumbent Jerry Brown continues to hold a commanding fundraising lead in the California Governor’s race.
Candidates had to report their latest numbers Monday.
In the first two and a half month of 2014, Governor Jerry Brown reports raising nearly $3 million. His campaign filing indicates he has about $20 million cash on hand.
One of Brown’s Republican Challengers, Neel Kashkari, reports raising more than $1.3 million during the same period. He has about $900 thousand cash on hand.
The third major candidate, Republican Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, reported raising just over $180 thousand in the first two and a half months of 2014. He has about $11 thousand ash on hand.
