Marine Lance Cpl. Dale W. Means, 23, was killed in Afghanistan on November 18. Means died while conducting combat operations in Helmand Province, according to the Department of Defense.
Means was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
According to his Facebook page, Means graduated from New Prague Senior High School in Minnesota in 2007. He was a newlywed, having married his wife Andrea in October of 2011.
