Sgt. Vincent Hancock Wins Gold
U.S. Army Sgt. Vincent Hancock won a gold medal today in skeet-shooting at the 2012 London Olympics. The 23-year-old, who is based at Fort Benning in Georgia, also set an Olympic record in his event, according to USA Today:
With his final shot, Hancock broke into a wide grin and pumped his right fist several times in celebration of his second gold in as many Olympics.
Hancock also won a gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He is a member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit.
Shooting USA TV did a profile on Hancock when he was a teenager living at home in Georgia. I've posted the video above.
