It's the final day of the San Diego County Fair. Fair goers can throw their diets out the window.
If you like deep-fried foods, the San Diego County Fair is the place to be.
There's deep-fried cheese curds, frog legs, and avocados. For dessert, you can have deep-fried s'mores, or Pop Tarts.
But the crème-de-la-crème is deep-fried butter.
Leo Dano from El Cajon chose the sweet version. He chowed down on a big slab of butter, deep-fried in batter, topped with sugar and whipped cream.
He says it had a unique flavor.
"Like wet butter. I mean, you didn't really taste like the consistency like if you, chewed into a butter from a refrigerator, it was really already melted. But it was good."
Dano says it was definitely better than last year's food sensation: chocolate bacon.
